Chelsea have edged ahead of Liverpool in their pursuit of PSV Eindhoven’s Zakaria Bakkali.
The Belgian winger, dubbed the ‘new Eden Hazard’, has attracted interest from all over Europe.
But sources in Spain indicate the 18-year old could be on his way to Stamford Bridge.
Bakkali is the youngest player to score a hat-trick in the Eredivisie. And the news of Chelsea’s interest is sure to excite their fans, always keen to see fresh young talent at the club.
This is seen as a blow to Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers, who was also linked to the youngster.
