It is claimed that The Toffees have been sending scouts in the hunt for a replacement for Seamus Coleman and it is also reported that Everton have enquired to Barcelona about the availability of Martin Montoya who has been on the side-lines of Luis Enrique’s plans.
Also 23 year old Rhys Bennett who plays for Rochdale as a central defender is also on the watch list for Roberto Martinez.
Coleman who signed a new five-and-a-half-year contract at Goodison Park in 2012 had his best season last year scoring 6 league goals and was also named in the PFA Team of the Year which could account or his £20million pound price tag.
