Chelsea are reported to be serious contenders to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid this summer
Chelsea have signed Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata so far this summer.
Now the Daily Express is reporting that the Blues have entered the race to sign the 28-year-old winger from Real Madrid as Antonio Conte looks to bolster his attacking options at Stamford Bridge.
Bale’s future at Real Madrid still remains a mystery as claims that the Spanish club are be ready to let him go to the highest bidder.
Reports also claim that Real Madrid are open to selling Bale for a fee of around £90m this summer as the Spanish giants consider cashing in on the attacker.
The same reports also claim that Manchester United have a long-standing interest in signing Bale but Chelsea have also been keeping tabs on his situation at Real Madrid.
The one advantage for the Blues however is Chelsea have the financial power needed to lure Bale away from Real Madrid should the Spanish club indeed be open to selling him this summer.
