Chelsea target Diego Costa has admitted he heard Chelsea fans singing his name during the Champions League semi final first leg last week, but has said he could not understand why.
Costa has been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, but has insisted he is happy with life at Atletico and is not thinking about his long-term future.
He said “The truth is that I didn’t understand anything. I heard my name and asked what they were saying.
“I can’t say I paid much attention to it. I’m very happy where I am now.”
Chelsea sat back in the first leg of the tie in Madrid last week, showing an impressive defensive display.
But Costa is expecting a totally different outlook from Mourinho’s side and hopes it will play into their hands.
Costa added: “I’m not nervous. It’s a great game to be involved in and we’re going to have fun playing.
“It will be different from the game at home. They will have to come out and attack more.”
