Chelsea have officially announced that Nigerian defender Kenneth Omeruo has gone on another season-long loan spell to Turkish club Alanyaspor.
Last season Omeruo spent the season with Alanyaspor, this season the 23-year-old will play for Kasimpasa, the same side he was loaned to for the 2015 / 2016 season.
Although a seasoned Nigerian international, with the player being involved with Nigeria in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and also the 2014 World Cup, Omeruo has never actually played for Chelsea`s first team.
But, as seems to be the case in so many of the loan deals the club has put together this summer, Omeruo, before departing, put pen-to-paper on a new contract that ties the player to Chelsea Football Club until 2020.
