Conor Bradley has penned a long-term contract with Liverpool.

The youngster made his debut for the Reds in September 2021 and has made six competitive appearances for Liverpool since then.

He was part of Liverpool’s pre-season squad in Germany but it was cut short due to a fracture in his back.

Bradley spent the last four months on the sidelines and now has made a full recovery and made his first appearance of the season in Liverpool’s 4-0 win over LASK Linz.

He had a spectacular loan spell with Bolton Wanderers last season amassing seven goals and six assists in 53 games and picked up the Players’ Player and Player of the Season awards.

The young defender has signed a new deal with the Merseyside club as he aims to establish himself in Jurgen Klopp’s first-team.

Klopp said: “You saw it tonight again. Really smart, brave, good footballer. After that long time, it would have been perfect in this week if he could’ve had a few minutes in the U21s, for example.

“It’s a pure joy to see him back in training, he [Bradley] had a top pre-season with us and all of a sudden he was out for a long time, so it’s good to have him back.”
