Talks between Wijciech Szczesny and Arsene Wenger are on the cards, with the Polish shot stopper keen to discuss his future amidst speculation that the Gunners boss will move for Petr Cech in the summer.
Szczesny has endured a turbulent season at the Emirates, starting just three games since his fallout with Arsene Wenger over smoking in the showers at the turn of the year. Such is the downturn of his season, Szczesny is now fearing for his place in the Polish national side.
Cech’s admission that he will not continue as Thibaut Courtois’ understudy next year, alerting many of Europe’s top clubs including Arsenal.
