Brazilian puts transfer rumours to rest

Liverpool no. 10 Phillpe Coutinho has rubbished rumours of a move away from Liverpool this summer, declaring he is happy at Anfield playing under Jurgen Klopp.

The Brazlian playmaker has been the subject of recent transfer speculation, linking him with moves with PSG and Barcelona. But it’s thought that Jurgen Klopp isn’t willing to let his prized asset go.

And according to Coutinho’s most recent comments, the feeling appears to be mutual,

“I am grateful for everything Liverpool has done for me,” Coutinho said. “Am I happy there working under Klopp? It’s clear, he’s great.”

Coutinho suffered international disappointment on Sunday night as Brazil were knocked out of the Copa America Centenario at the group stage.

Brazil’s 1-0 loss to Peru sent them crashing out at the group stage of the tournament for the first time since 1987.

Brazil’s early exit means that Coutinho is now set to play a full part in Liverpool’s pre-season tour of America next month.
