Star the target of 3 Premier League clubs
Liverpool star Daniel Sturridge is currently the target of 3 Premier League clubs, and could be expected to leave Anfield in January.
Despite Liverpool’s team success in the early stages of the season, Sturridge hasn’t enjoyed such personal achievements in the opening couple of months, and has struggled to break into the starting XI in the Premier League.
He is yet to score in the league this season, and his only goals have come in the EFL cup against Burton in late August. He started against Leicester at home earlier this month, but other than that has only appeared off the bench.
Stoke City, Sunderland and West Ham are all thought to be monitoring the situation, with reports suggesting that Sturridge is unsettled at Anfield. Last season, Sturridge was restricted to just eight starts, hampered by injuries throughout the campaign. And despite seemingly having had time to recover during preseason, there are still questions over his fitness, especially when Jurgen Klopp has opted to substitute him in each of his starts to date.
He remains a fan favourite for his past goal scoring form in recent seasons, and the club’s supporters will be hoping he can get back to the level that saw him score 22 Premier League goals alongside Luis Suarez in 2013/14, with Liverpool finishing as runners up in the league that season.
