Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge has hinted at his possible return to the first team fold, after teasing Liverpool fans over his long-awaited comeback.
The Reds beat Aston Villa 2-0 away at Villa Park, courtesy of goals from Fabio Borini and Rickie Lambert.
And having been out for several months now on and off, Sturridge, aged 25, teased Liverpool supporters over his comeback date.
He tweeted: “3 points again!! Teams getting stronger each game Soon I’ll be amongst it all.”
Sturridge has had a fruitful spell at Anfield to date, netting 32 goals in 40 games in his two-years at the club.
