Manchester United manager David Moyes has revealed his disappointment after seeing his side concede a 90th-minute equaliser against Cardiff City today.

Wayne Rooney had given the visitors the lead in the first-half, before Patrice Evra made it 2-1 just before half-time. This goal coming after Fraizer Campbell has brought the hosts level.

However, in the 90th-minute, a Kim Bo-Kyung header gave Cardiff a point and after the game, Moyes revealed his disappointment at conceding so late on.

“Disappointment that we didn’t take all three points, but Cardiff made a game of it and put us under pressure.

“We gave away a stupid free-kick which led to the [equalising] goal but we had one or two chances ourselves which could’ve put the game to bed earlier.”

Despite there being four-goals, it was a controversial Rooney moment that will be catching the headlines as he kicked-out at Jordan Mutch, only for the referee to give a yellow card rather than a red, but after the game, Moyes defended his player.

Moyes said: “There was a bit of a tussle but I don’t think it deserved any more than a yellow card.”

The 2-2 draw leaves United seven points behind league leaders Arsenal.
