Manchester United manager David Moyes has revealed that striker Javier Hernandez will not be leaving the club in January.

The Mexican international has recently been thinking about his future at Old Trafford after failing to cement a first-team spot under both Moyes and Sir Alex Ferguson.

Hernandez, who is known as ‘Little Pea’, is behind the likes of Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie at the club, and it was believed that he could be on his way out in the January transfer window, with Tottenham Hotspur interested.

However, Moyes has confirmed that there is no truth behind the speculation.

‘It [Hernandez’s exit] is not a question for now,’ said Moyes. ‘He will play a lot of games before the end of the season.’

The 25-year-old had the chance to join Valencia in the Summer, but he rejected their approaches, according to his agent.
