Arsenal have confirmed that they will be reveiling a statue to comemorate Dennis Bergkamp at the Sunderland match on February the 22nd. The plans began last year and the statue has been finished recently. The ceremony will start at 11:30am on game day and Bergkamp will be making an appearance at half-time.
Dennis is currently the assistant manager to De Boer at his home club of Ajax. He joined Arsenal as a player in 1995 making 423 appearances and scoring on 120 occasions. He was with the Gunners for 11 years and was part of the best Premier League squad to date named the Invincibles.
His statue will be standing tall and proud alongisde the greats such as Herbert Chapman, Tony Adams & Thierry Henry.
