Chelsea are currently at the top of the Premier League table

Eden Hazard has claimed that Arsenal and Man United are Chelsea’s biggest title rivals – despite both teams being several points behind the Blues.

Chelsea have stormed to the top of the Premier League table under new boss Antonio Conte, with the club having won 18 games so far this season.

Arsenal are currently down in third on goal difference and are now nine points behind the Blues at the top of the table.

Man United are even lower down than that, with the Red Devils currently sat in sixth place. They’re on 41 points and are even further behind Antonio Conte’s side, with the Red Devils trailing 15 points behind the league leaders.

Hazard’s back to his best

The Blues then are in a commanding lead at the top of the Premier League table and don’t show many signs of slowing down. One of the reasons for their surge to the top of the league has been due to the performances of the man questioned himself, Eden Hazard.

The Belgium international didn’t have the greatest of seasons in the last campaign but he is seemingly back to his best under Antonio Conte, bagging goals and assists for the Blues to help take them to first place.

He’s seemingly writing off Tottenham, Liverpool and Man City from the title race as well, choosing Arsenal and Man United instead when quizzed about his club’s major title rivals.

When asked about it, he told Sky Sports: “I think Arsenal and Manchester United. United had a bad first part of the season and I think for a couple of games now, they played well.

“They drew against Stoke City but they have good players and the squad is very good. The manager is good, so they will be second or third.”
