Eden Hazard revealed he would try to bring Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid.
French news reporting outlet, L’Équipe claimed negotiations have begun between Paris Saint-Germain and the 20-year-old forward over a new contract extension.
Mbappe’s current deal is set to keep him at Paris till the summer of 2022 unless Real can steal him with a big stack of cash. There is no doubt the Frenchman would only be sold for a world record sum in this current market. The only question is will he be allowed to leave and for how much exactly?
Eden Hazard is currently the most expensive player in the Madrid squad after his £120m switch from Chelsea in June. He has taken on Cristiano Ronaldo’s spot on the left flank and also the iconic number seven jersey number. The Belgian is eager to have Mbappe at the Santiago Bernabeu as Real plan a few additions in the upcoming transfer windows.
Hazard said, “In a few years, he will certainly be the best player in the world. This title, there are a lot of players who fight for it, but if he continues like this, Kylian will be one of the greatest footballers in the history of the world… A footballer constantly dreams of playing alongside the best. If tomorrow I could bring Kylian to Real Madrid, I would try. But not only is it not just me who can decide this, on top of that I don’t even think I would be asked for my opinion.”
