Bayern Munich boss reportedly ready to take over at Etihad

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has agreed to sign for Manchester City and takeover Manuel Pellegrini’s current role at the club.

The 44-year-old is under pressure at the moment at the German giants as Bayern were knocked out of the German Cup and then was thrashed 3-0 by Guardiola’s old club, Barcelona, in the Champions League semi-final in midweek.

Pellegrini Out

City gaffer Pellegrini has been dubbed ‘not up to scratch’ by many football pundits this season and has been knocked out of the FA cup by Championship side Middlesbrough.

City have had a slump season in winning no trophies and many say Pellegrini would be lucky to stay in the job for next season.

Guardiola has been linked with a move away from Munich this season and reports suggest that Manchester City reached a tentative agreement with Guardiola to become the coach.
