The Chelsea boss is expected to sanctioned following comments after his side’s 3-1 defeat to Southampton
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is facing the prospect of an FA fine after comments he made regarding referee Robert Madley.
The Blues lost their second game in a week after the 2-1 defeat to Mourinho’s former club Porto in the Champions League.
This defeat leaves Chelsea 16th in the Premier League and have lost half of their eight league games.
Mourinho’s comments
Speaking to Chelsea TV post-match Mourinho said: “I think it’s time for people to be honest and say that I’m right.
“Maybe I’m going to be punished but I have to say it, because my players and the supporters deserve me to say it. We don’t get one decision from the referees. One.
“We lost in Porto with a big penalty in the last minute in the face of two officials.
“We had a big penalty that the referee should be here, speaking to you, explaining why he did not give the penalty. A crucial penalty.
“They don’t give. Never. They are afraid to give. We were punished by that.”
It is likely that the FA will take action at some point tomorrow regarding The Special One’s latest rant.
