The Colombia international wants to stay in Italy, despite interest from England
According to reports, Arsenal have held talks with Italian giants Inter Milan over the availability of their centre-back Jeison Murillo.
The Gunners only have three recognisable first team central defenders in Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny and Gabriel.
So they are searching for new defensive options and Arsene Wenger is believed to be an admirer of Murillo.
However, the 24-year old isn’t interested by the prospect of a Premier League move and wants to stay in Milan.
Commitment
“I want to stay at Inter, I am an Inter player and I am not thinking about the future right now,” said Murillo.
“Coming to Serie A has really helped me improve, although it was difficult at first to adapt to a very tactical and physical league.”
