Bournemouth chiefs say they have a chance of signing Jack Wilshere permanently
Bournemouth chairman Jeff Mostyn says the club could sign Jack Wilshere from Arsenal on a permanent basis.
The England international joined the Cherries on a season-long loan this summer, because he wasn’t guaranteed first team football with the Gunners.
Wilshere has so far impressed Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe, and Mostyn insists there is a slim chance that he could remain at Dean Court beyond this campaign.
However, he knows that Arsenal won’t sell the 24-year-old on the cheap.
‘what he wants’
“I think anything is possible, the best we can do is integrate Jack into the team and help him fulfil what he wants,” said Mostyn.
“Whether or not we will go beyond a season, I think everything is possible.”
