Two Arsenal legends in Ian Wright and Martin Keown have given their opinions on the transfer situation regarding Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, who is wanted by Chelsea.
The pair were speaking on BT Sport. Keown believes Lukaku would struggle to get game time at Stamford Bridge due to the influence of Spaniard Diego Costa.
Meanwhile, Wright believes Costa will be exiting Chelsea this summer, paving the way for the Belgian to potentially make a second go of it, having been at Chelsea between 2011 and 2014.

When asked if Lukaku would be at Chelsea next season, ex-Gunners defender Keown replied: “He’s not going to get a game though is he?”
“Costa will play.”
Striker Wright, second on Arsenal’s all-time goalscoring charts behind Thierry Henry, was quick to argue against Keown though and said: “Yeah but Costa’s going to go! I think that he will.”
“We don’t know that do we,” Keown responded.
“They’re not going to have Costa and sign Lukaku,” Wright explained.
Wright earlier mentioned that Lukaku’s head might be turned by Chelsea due to an apparent lack of quality around him at Everton.
He said: “You look at the reason he may not have signed a deal to this point.
“Yes, he may have scored 25 goals to this point, 24 in the Premier League but he must be frustrated himself because he could get more.
“He must be thinking: ‘I’m looking at Chelsea, looking at Costa, looking at the chances they’re getting all the time being involved in the game’ – that might turn his head.”
