Liverpool have contacted Juventus regarding a possible £45m deal for Alvaro Morata.
Concerns have been raised at Anfield over the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Christian Benteke, and manager Jurgen Klopp is looking at bringing in reinforcements.
Morata, 23, has fallen down the pecking order at the Italian giants, and has only one league goal this season, compared to fifteen last term.
Juve chief Massimiliano Allegri is seemingly preferring the duo of Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool have opened talks regarding a deal for Morata.
Morata moved to Juventus in 2014 from Real Madrid for around 20m Euros. He only signed a new contract until 2020 last month.
