Tottenham has been told to sign Hakim Ziyech this January.
The Moroccan winger has struggled for minutes under new manager Graham Potter and will likely secure an exit this January or next summer.
He has struggled to live up to expectations since his big money move back in 2020.
The winger could be set for a new challenge next season and former Spurs forward Rafael van der Vaart wants Tottenham to make a move for the 29-year-old winger.
“Hakim Ziyech has to join Tottenham,” he said on Ziggo Sport. “If Tottenham get Hakim Ziyech, they could win the Premier League. I am serious.”
Van der Vaart earlier also said that the winger needs regular minutes to find his best form.
“Of course, he never really has a smiley face, but now you can see from everything that he is not having a good time,” he said. “I hope he goes to a club where he can just play and not worry about anything else.
“Ziyech is a boy that always has to play when you get him. When you get players, you buy them not only for their footballing qualities but also for how someone is.”
