Jamie Vardy is yet to rediscover his scoring touch.

The Leicester City forward is one of those characters in football you love watching. He was instrumental in Leicester City winning the league back in 2015-16. Since then he has maintained his reputation as a lethal finisher.

However, this season under Brendan Rodgers, Vardy rediscovered his touch of magnificence on a full scale. With Leicester playing free-flowing attacking football, Vardy has been at his lethal best.

Until recently, when the player lost his scoring spree again. With Vardy well north of 30 – will he get his mojo back or is it gone for good? Well Rodgers feels its only a matter of time.

“He’s ready to make an impact in the final part of the season. These things happen and he’s been working his way back in,” said Rodgers.

“I’ve no doubt that he’s the player that will always be the threat and he’s always going to get those opportunities.

“It’s the responsibility of the team to create opportunities for him because he’s that type of striker.

“He needs the last pass, or the cross. In a few games, he’s been unfortunate not to score.

“But he’s such a threat and that will come again, I’m sure.”
