Liverpool and Arsenal target secures season-long loan deal to Spanish side

Borussia Dortmund striker Ciro Immobile is set to secure a season-long loan deal to Sevilla, according to reports

The Italian forward has endured a frustrating period in Germany after signing for Dortmund last summer from Torino. He had been linked with a move to Liverpool, but reportedly wasn’t up for a move to Anfield.

Arsenal were also believed to be monitoring the situation, but Sevilla moved quickly after losing their main striker Carlos Bacca to AC Milan.

Satisfied With Options

This move means that Sevilla could end their interest in Manchester United’s Javier Hernandez.

The Manchester United striker was linked with a shock move to Liverpool but a transfer to the MLS now seems more likely

If that deal does happen it could spark a head-to-battle between United and Liverpool for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuian.

The Argentina star, 27, has been told he can leave Napoli but only if his significant buy-out clause is met.
