Deco’s approach in nurturing Barcelona’s new star, Vitor Roque

This trip aims to meet Roque in person and offer support during a difficult time for the young star as he recovers from an injury sustained during a league match for Athletico Paranaense.
Roque, considered one of Brazil’s most promising prospects, grabbed the attention of Barcelona during an incredible scoring spree. Unfortunately, an injury has sidelined him, requiring a meticulous recovery plan. Deco wants to work with Roque’s medical team, which is already in contact with Barcelona’s medical staff, to ensure a conservative yet effective treatment plan that does not require surgical intervention.
Deco’s intention is to provide Roque with substantial details regarding Barcelona’s financial status and the club’s plans for his registration during the next January transfer window. Barcelona expected to get a key €40 million from the German Libero Football Fund in order to complete Roque’s deal.
