Unai Emery has said that it would not be easy to do business in the January transfer market.

The Arsenal manager endured his first loss after 22 matches in all competitions in their last match against Southampton.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has said that it would not be easy for the north London club to do business in the January transfer market. The former PSG boss is having a good time in his first season with the Gunners and might look to add a few new faces to the squad with the midseason break soon approaching.

The Spanish gaffer said, “The club is working only if some player can help us with a high level or better than within for us. It is not a good situation for transfers in January but we are going to look and the club is working. But also we are in a (good) way. Our progress is also with young players and we are giving them chances, and when we need to give them more chances to play and show us (their) progress we are going to do.”

He added, “It’s true we need to improve and concede less chances to the opposition. We are scoring a lot but we are also conceding a lot, it’s more than we want for our objective.”

Arsenal are set to take on arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur in their next match in the League Cup on Wednesday night.
