Manchester united have joined, Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea in the hunt to sign Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabon international, rated at ÂŁ42m, has scored 22Â goals in 18 appearances this season for the Bundesliga club.
Aubameyang, famed for his mask-donning goal celebrations, has been watched by United scouts on more than one occasion this season.
He is a finalist for the BBC African Footballer of the Year award, alongside Algeria’s Yacine Brahimi, the 2014 winner, Ghanaian Andre Ayew, Senegal’s Sadio Mane and Yaya Toure of Ivory Coast.
Aubameyang is under contract until 2020, but United may make a move as early as the New Year.
They won’t be alone however, with Barcelona reportedly also having watched him this season.
Arsenal and Chelsea are also seemingly keen.
