‘I don’t know’ said Chelsea goalkeeper
Thibaut Courtois has casted doubt over his Chelsea future after stating he doesn’t know whether he’ll be at the club next season.
The Belgian missed the first stages of the season through injury, but has since claimed his place back off Asmir Begovic.
The Blues have had a poor campaign that was looking disastrous until Jose Mourinho was sacked, however it has since been part-salvaged by interim manager Guus Hiddink. Although, there season is basically over as top 4 qualification is unlikely and they are out off major cup competitions.
And speaking to Belgian broadcaster RTBF, Courtois was noncommittal when asked about his future.
“I don’t know,” Courtois said.
“I still have a contract for three years so we’ll see what Chelsea want too.”
