Chelsea are looking to sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace according to reports.
Conte recently admitted that he would like to give the board his transfer targets but that the final say goes to the board, not him.
So it’s hard to say whether or not this player is a Conte target or a board target. but what the Daily Mirror suggest is that Chelsea want to bring in the 25-year-old Ivory Coast winger to add to their attacking options.
The move will most likely happen at the end of the 2017/18 season which probably means Chelsea wnat time to decide on which winger they are to offload, be it Pedro or Willian.
Zaha has scored four goals in 12 appearances this season after an injury ruled him out for much of the start of the season. And considering his long layoff, he has been performing exceptionally well for Palace and has helped rejuvenate the struggling side with attacking flair and threat.
Arsenal and Tottenham are said to be also keen.
It’s not certain though what Zaha will add to the already threatening Chelsea attack with Willian and Pedro performing well while Eden Hazard is on a level of his own. But if Chelsea do offload one of their current wingers, expect Chelsea to go after the talented winger in order to take some pressure off Hazard.
