Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has been linked with a move to Roma, according to reports.

The Slovakia captain is preparing to lead his nation against England in Euro 2016 action tomorrow in St Etienne.

And reports claim that personal terms between Skrtel and the Giallorossi have been agreed, although no agreement between the two clubs has yet been reached.

A quartet of other clubs, thought to be Inter Milan and three from Turkey, are also in the frame to sign Skrtel.

And the player’s agent, Karol Csont, refused to admit anything decisive regarding his future.

“Inter and Roma have come forward, but not only them,” Csont said. “There are other offers on the table from Besiktas and Galatasaray, and from other teams as well

“I cannot say whether we are close to an agreement with Fenerbahce, as has been said by many. As soon as the Euros are over we will make a final decision.”

Skrtel, 31, joined Liverpool for ÂŁ6.5 million in January 2008 from Russian side Zenit St Petersburg, and has made over 400 appearances for the Reds.
