Manchester United are looking to bolster their strikeforce in the summer, with Antoine Griezmann of Atletico Madrid unquestionably their number one target.

The Red Devils are also reportedly seriously interested in Everton ace Romelu Lukaku. The Toffees, understandably, are not keen on losing their 25-goal ace.

Lukaku, 23, has made no secret in recent months of his desire to win trophies, even if it means leaving Goodison Park.

Along with United, Chelsea are also in the market for a forward, with Diego Costa being linked with a move to China.

In a bid to scare off any potential suitors, Everton, according to the Liverpool Echo, are placing a record ÂŁ100m price tag on Lukaku.

United hold the current world record for highest transfer fee paid, when they signed Paul Pogba fom Juventus for ÂŁ89m. They are also close to Lukaku’s agent Mino Raiola, who also looks after Pogba.

Lukaku turned out for Chelsea between 2011 and 2014, although he spent the vast majority of that time on loan at West Bromwich Albion, before he headed to Merseyside. Lukaku is also reported to have recently stated that he feels that he has ‘unfinished business’ with Chelsea.
