Wanda Nara, the wife and agent of Mauro Icardi, revealed an interesting background before his PSG move.
In fact, she admitted that he could have joined the Rossoneri.
Inter Milan wanted to sell their troubled star Mauro Icardi this summer due to their relationship with the player, which attracted the interest of several clubs. In the end, he ended up at Paris Saint-Germain, though Wanda Nara explained that this choice was not easy.
Icardi’s wife, Wanda Nara, admitted her spouse had the possibility to join AC Milan from their rivals in the summer before he completed a season-long loan move to PSG.
“There was the possibility of bringing Mauro to AC Milan. Going to France was the most difficult choice for me. Obviously, a choice like AC Milan would have been more comfortable, but a team like PSG is the best choice for his career,” she said on Sport Mediaset television show Tiki Taka.
“I have just arrived here from Paris and tomorrow I go back. My children are in Paris.”
As reported by La Repubblica, on the final day of the transfer window, Icardi would have seriously considered joining AC Milan just to stay in the city. Recently, he built a new home there, which made his decision even harder. The striker has started his spell at Parc des Princes with already seven goals in as many games.
