Gio Lo Celso has promised to return to Spurs soon.
Tottenham Hotspur came to an agreement with Europa League winners, Villarreal for a loan for Giovani Lo Celso to the end of the current season.
The Yellow Submarine will have the option to purchase him when the loan expires. Gio was close to also joining Lyon but Unai Emery convinced him to play for the Villarreal.
Giovani Lo Celso has joined La Liga side Villarreal on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 25-year-old joins other loan exits on transfer deadline day including Tanguy N’Dombele who has joined Lyon and Gil who has also headed to Spain with Valencia.
