Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny believes the side’s experience will help them achieve yet another top-four finish, despite fourth-spot being in Everton’s hands after they beat them 3-0 on Sunday.
The Toffees walked past Arsene Wenger’s men at Goodison Park at the weekend and the result leaves them just one point behind The Gunners with a game in hand, which is against Crystal Palace at home.
It has been a horrible month for Wenger and co. as they have gone from genuine title contenders to challenging for top-four, but despite the poor dip in results, Szczesny still believes they can achieve a Champions League spot for next year.
‘We have experience in getting into the top four of course, and that will help us this time,’ he said.
‘We have managed to do it every single time in the past, so even though we have not been at our very best, we know we can pick ourselves up and still get there.
‘We have the people who have been there and know how to do it.
‘What we have to do is to refocus after this defeat and not dwell on it.
‘We have done that in the past and we have to do it again now with such big games coming up.’
