Spanish giants FC Barcelona have labelled Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere as the perfect replacement for either Xavi or Andres Iniesta, once the Spanish duo retire from the game.
Despite being two of the best centre-midfielder’s in world football, the Barca duo are nearing the end of their careers with Xavi being 33 and Iniesta being 29.
The Calatan club are desperate to find younger players who could fill the boots of the playmakers and their attention has turned to one of the upcoming talents in European football.
Wilshere, who has been at Arsenal since the age of eight, has become one of the best midfielders around and Barcelona want to make him their third signing from The Gunners after they purchased both Cesc Fabregas and Alex Song in recent years.
