Louis Van Gaal has finally sanctioned the move which will see Fellaini move to Naples and play under Rafa Benitez on a season long loan.
Marouane Fellaini struggled immensely in his first season at Manchester United following his mega money move from Everton and has been looking for a move away ever since the transfer window opened.
The move had looked in doubt with wages being the sticky point, but manager Van Gaal has wielded his axe and wants rid of the Belgium Midfielder even if it means a loan.
He does not feature in the new boss’ plans with new boy Herrera arriving and taking a starting birth there would be limited opportunities for Fellaini and he sees a move to Italy as a perfect place to play.
A loan few is yet to be agreed with United thought to want 4 million but Napoli willing to only pay half that fee.
