Mancheste United boss has admitted that he is yet to find his number one goalkeeper. Sir Alex Ferguson has been rotating between David De Gea and Anders Lindegaard for the opening games of the new season and he has revealed the rotation is because he doesn’t know which one is his number one yet.

Ferguson has said that there is a ‘strong possibility’ that he will recall De Gea for the Champions League game against Galatasaray after playing Lindegaard at the weekend against Wigan.

He said: ‘I think the most important thing I’m trying to achieve is experience of the English game. They are both young, they don’t have the experience of a Van der Sar or Schmeichel, so alternating is not a problem for me.’

Manchester United kick off their Champions League campaign tonight against Turkish side Galatasaray and they will be hoping for a better campaign than last year, which saw them get knocked out from the group stages and dropped into the Europa League.
