The Blues won’t be able to recall Juan Cuadrado from his loan spell at Juventus
This is because they didn’t insert a recall clause.
Cuadrado left Stamford Bridge for Juventus on a three-year loan deal last August and has impressed during his time in Turin
And now he won’t be able to play again for the London giants until the loan ends in 2019.
Juventus are currently paying £4m per season for Cuadrado and will have to add another £8.4m if they want to make the move permanent.
