Gareth Bale's Return To Tottenham Hotspur Ruled Out

Guillem Balague has ruled out Gareth Bale’s return to Tottenham Hotspur this January despite opposite claims.

It has been previously reported that Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy contacted Real Madrid about the forward after Harry Kane went down to a serious injury.

The absence of a lethal goalscorer makes it even more hard for Jose Mourinho to clinch one of the top four spots this season. Bale is no doubt disgruntled at the Madrid capital but his prospects of an immediate return to North London has been shot down. The perrenial star, who departed for Spain over 6 years back, has a contract until June 2022.

He is currently earning ÂŁ350,000-per-week whereas Harry Kane and Tanguy Ndombele, Tottenham’s highest earners are banking around ÂŁ200-per-week. Spurs will find a hard time setting apart Bale’s wages but he could already be convinced to a better offer from China. The Welshman was close to tying down a move to Jiangsu Suning last summer before the move fell apart in the final moments.

It is likely that Bale would opt for the ÂŁ1m a week he will get in China than return to his former side for a much lesser fee. It could all lead to his decision and his loyalty to his former side.
