The irritating Galacticos just won’t go away! After chasing Thibault Courtois unsuccessfully for a couple of years now, Real Madrid are also persisting in their long pursuit of Chelsea and the Premier League’s best player, Eden Hazard.
Rumours are rife and some say Madrid have virtually signed the 26 year old Belgian genius.
‘Talksport’ have quoted….
‘Chelsea have been warned by a former Real Madrid president (Ramon Calderon) they won’t be able to stop Eden Hazard from joining the Spanish giants this summer if he wants to make the move.’
That’s a bit of fake, stirring up nonsense though. It’s the same as saying that Ronaldo, Bale and Modric can all leave the Bernabeu and Real Madrid can do nothing about it!
Zinedine Zidane, the Madrilenas boss, has long been an admirer of Hazard. With his current superstar, Ronaldo already 32 years old, he is looking to the future to try and match their main rivals, Barcelona. The boys from the Camp Nou, have Lionel Messi at 29 years old and more importantly, Neymar at only 25. Their position as one of Europe’s top 3 clubs is virtually guaranteed for many years to come. For Madrid, however the future is not so certain.
Zidane could offer Morata or James Rodriguez or even Benzema to Chelsea, or even a pick and choose deal plus cash. As some people point out though, discussions have never even taken place between Madrid and Chelsea. Nor are they ever likely to. No amount of money will tempt Hazard away from Chelsea right now. They are currently firing so strong on all cylinders and Hazard has never been happier at the club. And on top of that, Champions League football is about to return to Stamford bridge.
In fact the only discussions about to take place are between Chelsea and Eden Hazard. The resulting deal will make him the highest paid footballer in the Premier League! With Paul Pogba the current highest paid player at £290k per week it’s only right that Hazard should get more. He is after all a much better player especially if you go by Premier League performances! Chelsea will offer Hazard a £300k a week salary in talks from next month.
