Jean-Clear Todibo has been linked with a move to the Premier League.
The Red Devils will reportedly be interested in signing a new centre-back this January and have identified Jean-Clear Todibo as their primary target.
Players like Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are still sidelined and won’t be available until late December.
Todibo currently plies his trade in the Ligue 1 and is under contract with Nice until the summer of 2027.
The French international currently appears to be at the top of his game and is valued at around €30m.
Singing a young defender would definitely help Erik Ten Hag as Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof aren’t getting any younger.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the 23-year-old Frenchman would be interested in a move to Old Trafford.
“Todibo is a player in the list of Manchester United already since June, July, they had very positive conversations on player side.” Romano said live on The United Stand.
“From what I’m hearing still now, the ideas not changed, Todibo would love to join Manchester United.
“He’s really attracted by the opportunity to play in the Premier League. He’s an expensive player.
“He remains a player appreciated by United’s scouring department… not the only one.”
