Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o has launched yet another verbal attack on manager Jose Mourinho, labelling him a fool and a puppet.
The Cameroon international is still unhappy with his boss after he made a comment about his age, stating that he doesn’t know how old he is and that he could be a lot older than what he says he is.
These quotes came halfway through the season when Mourinho thought he wasn’t being recorded, and since then, Eto’o has voiced his displeasure at the comments and said that he felt disrespected by the club.
A few weeks ago, the striker was quoted saying that Mourinho is a fool, and now he has added to those comments by saying he’s a puppet as well.
‘Contrary to what a puppet says about my age, I am still physically fit.
‘At 33, I feel real good. I have proven that I could do better than youths.’
Eto’o then added: ‘And I wish to also say that I am not going to the United States or to the Middle East.
‘I will continue at the top level. I will continue to play the Champions League.
‘My romance with this competition is far from over.
‘I will not tell you where, but I will be at the top level. I am 33 and I have two World Cups to play.
‘Before me there are other players who went on until the age of 41. So I can continue.’
