Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes next year’s title-race could be even more open that this year’s.

It was eventually Manchester City that won the Premier League title for the 2013/2014 season, but throughout the campaign, it was a four-way battle between Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and City, and The Blues boss believes next season will be even more open.

Mourinho, has admitted that this Summer will involved drastic changes at Stamford Bridge, has stated that his side could finish anywhere between 1st or 6th due to the amount of teams that will be competing for the title.

With Manchester United expected to be back to their best, and with Tottenham Hotspur finally resolving their managerial problems, Mourinho believes next season will be one of the toughest yet as all teams will improve throughout the Summer.

‘Next season will be very, very difficult, even more so,’ he said.

‘I know Chelsea will be better, but maybe the other teams will be better too, so it will again be the kind of league where you don’t know if you’re going to finish first or finish sixth. In this moment I have to think and feel and say we want to finish first.

‘I enjoy this club, I like the club, and I like the league. I love the way people live football in this country. I was a little part of the process that made Chelsea a force in the last decade, and I come back with the dream to try to be a little part again of the next decade.’
