Former Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho has said that he is not ruling out a return to any of his former clubs provided they are right for him. Mourinho is out of a managerial job after being sacked by Manchester United following their 3-1 defeat against Liverpool.

Speaking to AS, Mourinho said, “If I think the club is right, has the right structure and ambitions then I would have no problem at all in returning. I think it is a nice feeling when a club where you worked before want you to come back again but the only club to have done this is Chelsea, so far nobody else has.”

Chelsea is the only club where Mourinho had a second managerial spell. During his second managerial spell, Mourinho guided Chelsea to the Premier League and the League Cup in the 2014-15 season.

Porto, Inter Milan and Real Madrid include some of the clubs Mourinho has managed. Mourinho has had successful spells at all of these clubs. With Porto, Mourinho won the 2002 UEFA Cup and the 2003-04 Champions League in addition to the League title, the Portuguese Cup and the Portuguese Super Cup. At Inter, Mourinho won back to back Serie A titles and guided the club to Champions League glory in 2010.

Mourinho’s spell at Real Madrid wasn’t as successful compared to those in Inter Milan and Porto but he did manage to win the La Liga with them.
