Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata is ready to sit down with the club’s hierarchy in order to discuss his personal future at Stamford Bridge.
There has been a whole host of speculation linking the Spaniard with a move away from London due to the lack of first-team football this season under Jose Mourinho, and it is reported that the two are ready to sit down and discuss the future.
Mata was linked with a move away from The Bridge in the Summer, with Arsenal seriously interested, but no formal offers were made, so he remained a Chelsea player, but since then, first-team football has been rare for the Spaniard.
His future was speculated earlier on in the week after he reacted badly to being substituted against Southampton, and it is believed that his agent is now ready to fly in to London to discuss the future with Mourinho and Roman Abramovich.
It is understood that The Blues don’t want to sell the midfield-maestro, but with the World Cup just months away, Mata is desperate for first-team football.
