Liverpool manager admits he’s not unsellable

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has dealt West Ham United a surprise boost in their quest to sign Jordan Henderson, after he confirmed he isn’t unsellable.

The England international is a surprise target of Slaven Bilic‘s as West Ham eye summer additions ahead of their move to the Olympic Stadium, and the Hammers will be boosted by Klopp‘s recent comments.

Reports have linked West Ham with launching a ÂŁ25million bid for Henderson at the end of the season, and although he’s a regular in Klopp’s team and also the club’s captain, he’s not unsellable if the price is right.

Speaking about his captain, Klopp confirmed that nothing is on the cards regarding a transfer, but the club would listen to offers if they met their valuation because no-one is unsellable, bar FC Barcelona‘s Lionel Messi.

Klopp Hints At Shock Sale

“Every thing is OK at this moment (with Henderson), but nobody in the world, maybe only (Lionel) Messi, is unsellable,” Klopp said.

“I come from a club [Dortmund] where always the best players are picked by other teams and at the end you have to accept a few things and always have a Plan B and Plan C.

“Let’s not say it’s Hendo, but any player who comes to me and says he doesn’t feel comfortable and wants to leave, then you always have to start thinking.

“If a player wants to go to another club I’d always be open because I don’t want to have a player in my squad who doesn’t want to be in it.

“These are problems you don’t need in a season.”
