Chelsea and Man United are also keeping tabs on the Real Madrid man

Juventus have registered an interest in James Rodriguez.

According to talkSPORT, the Italian side are contemplating a move for the Colombia international and could make a move for him in the summer.

This year he has featured 23 times for Madrid in all competitions and scored 6 goals but with so many big players at the Bernabeu, it is hard to get a good run in the side.

Rodriguez is expected to leave Real Madrid this summer because of this, with the player eager for a new challenge and more gametime elsewhere and Juventus could offer it to him.

Juventus could sell Pogba

The only thing that could stop them is the potential price tag that Real Madrid ask for – reports claim they could want as much as ÂŁ60m for the 24-year old, a price which Juventus could struggle to match.

That is unless they sell star player Paul Pogba, who has been attracting interest from all across Europe too. If he was to be sold on, then Juve could have the funds to put together a move for Rodriguez.

Not only is the price a problem for the Serie A side but they could face fierce competition for his signature, with both Chelsea and Man United also keeping an eye on the situation.

Antonio Conte – who is becoming manager at Chelsea when Euro 2016 ends – is desperate to bring the winger/attacking midfielder to Stamford Bridge as part of his plans to rejuvenate the current Blues side and get them back challenging for the title next season.

Man United are also prepared to do what it takes to sign Rodriguez, meaning Juventus won’t have an easy time trying to sign him. However, if they sell some players – or sell Pogba – and get the funds they need, then we could see the Colombia international plying his trade in Italy next season.
