The Old Lady ready to beat Premier League trio?

Juventus are the first club to make official contact with Paris Saint-Germain for star-striker Edinson Cavani, according to reports.

The Serie A champions are interested in signing a new striker, and have been linked with both Cavani and Romelu Lukaku from Everton, with the club preparing to launch summer bids.

It’s believed Alvaro Morata could be set to leave Juve at the end of the season, with Real Madrid potentially activating the buy-back clause in his contract.

Should Morata leave, Massimiliano Allegri will then look to sign a new striker, and it looks like Cavani could be his ideal replacement.

The Uruguayan has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all keen on signing him, but according to reports, Juventus have made the first move.

Cavani Set For Exit?

Despite Paris Saint-Germain losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, they could also lose Cavani, who is still unhappy with life in Paris and under Laurent Blanc.

According to reports in Italy, Juve officials have already reached out to Cavani’s father in order to discuss a potential transfer.

This news will come as a real blow to the Premier League trio, who are all believed to be interested in signing the 29-year-old.
