The Serie A side remain firmly interested in bringing the player to Italy

Juventus are plotting to make a second bid for Alexis Sanchez.

According to reports, the Serie A side still have a big interest in the Chile international and are desperate to bring him to the club. They’ve already had one bid turned down for the player this summer but are planning on making another before the window shuts.

The Gunners understandably don’t want to lose one of their key players but it hasn’t stopped Juve from trying to re-open talks about a potential move for the 27-year old.

Arsenal to offer Sanchez a new deal

Even worse for Arsene Wenger’s side are the reports that the player himself fancies a move back to Serie A, meaning that if the Turin side came in with a bid, Sanchez may be more than happy to accept their offer and go back to Italy.

Arsenal though will do what they can to keep hold of him – Juventus’ original bid of ÂŁ43m was turned down and they’ll want more than that to even consider any new bid that the Italian side makes.

In addition, the Gunners are also ready to offer Sanchez a new deal at the club, which would be better than his current one and would ensure he stays at the Emirates Stadium for the foreseeable future.

However, it won’t stop Juventus from at least testing Arsene Wenger’s resolve by launching a new bid to sign him before the transfer deadline at the end of August.
