The race for the signature of Gonzalo Higuain is still on, after his father claimed that Arsenal are not the only suitors, with Italian giants Juventus also chasing the Argentine striker, 25.
Arsenal are thought to be in a pole position to land the Real Madrid striker as Higuain senior confirmed that Real Madrid are in “advanced talks” with the London club.
However, Juventus’ general director, two days ago, claimed that the Turin club could make a last ditch attempt to sign the player, insisting that “there was so much time left for things to happen”.
Juventus have now, according to the 25 year old’s father, also made a big bid for the striker, but empathizes that no personal terms have been discussed.
“We wouldn’t arrange any personal contract before the clubs agree for the transfer. I’m aware Arsenal has made a strong offer, as well as Juventus.”
